Each year The GIANT Company partners with school districts to combat childhood hunger. They are committed to connecting families to a better future through the 2023 Feeding School Kids initiative.

We are excited to announce that NYCSD is a recipient of @ GIANT’s Feeding School Kids Round Up program! This year, Feeding School Kids raised more than $1.35 million to expand public school feeding programs. Thanks to GIANT’s support, we are receiving $7,075.80 to support food security and food assistance initiatives within our schools. The funds received last year were used to help ease the burden of Northern Nation families with outstanding food service balances and we anticipate making this relief available once again.

Thanks to all the Northern supporting customers who rounded up at the register! Together, we are ensuring students have access to the nutrition they need to grow and fuel their education. We are thankful for the continued partnership with The GIANT Company to combat childhood hunger.
