National French Exam

Sixteen students from Madame Joanne Magill’s French I classes at Northern Middle School participated in the National French Exam this spring. The exam is an annual contest sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF); 2022 marks the 87th year that the test has taken place and the 26th year that NMS students have participated.

Students demonstrate their knowledge of French through listening comprehension and written questions. These Northern students were recognized at the eighth grade assembly on May 25 and were among a total of 11,145 students who took the same test nationwide.
