FFA Jacket Contest Winnner

"Start 'em young!", was the response of one 8th grader to Mrs. Richwine's question, "What can Northern York Schools do to help the food and fiber labor shortage in American agriculture?" The Agricultural Food and Literacy course has been a part of NYCSD's Agricultural Education programming for over ten years, proudly participating in local, state and national FFA activities for the middle school students enrolled in the 8th grade course.

Pictured above is Kierra Mull, this year's Jacket winner. Every year, the Northern Middle School FFA has sponsored an FFA Jacket contest. Active 8th grade FFA members must learn and recite the FFA Creed. The top performer's are awarded an official FFA jacket as a jump start to their career in agricultural education. Congratulations, Kierra!
