Dillsburg Elementary Students Travel the World

Last week, the 3rd grade classes at Dillsburg Elementary School "traveled around the world" to learn about other countries and cultures. The students received a passport that allowed them to visit the countries of Mexico, India, Germany and China. While visiting each country, students learned about customary languages, foods, and clothing of the region. They also created traditional artwork, such as clay pretzels in Germany, calligraphy in China, Mehndi in India, and papel picados in Mexico. All of the artwork will be on display during the school's STEAM Showcase.
