Seven talented Northern High School students were recently honored with Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Students submitted art and written pieces to the regional competition comprised of seven Pennsylvania counties where they were judged by professional artists and teachers. Silver and Gold Key winners will be honored in a ceremony at the State Museum on March 9, 2019. Gold Key winners will continue on to National judging with the possibility of attending an awards ceremony at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Writing entries were submitted under the guidance of Kyla Swope. Art entries were submitted under the guidance of Jennifer Brink. All three Gold Key pieces will be on display at the State Museum in Harrisburg from March 9, 2019 until May 6, 2019.Congratulations to all!
