Wellsville Visits Pinchot State Park

Wellsville Elementary enjoyed an all school heritage field trip on Wednesday, October 17 to Gifford Pinchot State Park. The students heard from a park naturalist on the wildlife and plants located at the State Park. They also participated in colonial crafts, tried their hands at fishing using cane poles, played colonial games, walked a nature trail, and viewed colonial clothing. It was a beautiful day of learning about our local community. Wellsville is so thankful for the work of Amanda Brown, grade 4 teacher, who organized the entire experience for the school!
