NYCSD partners again with New Hope Ministries for meal assistance
All year long, New Hope Ministries serves families in the Northern York County School District struggling with hunger and other basic needs. Through our food pantry location in Dillsburg and our partnership with the district to provide weekend backpacks to students receiving free and reduced school meals, New Hope helps thousands of people every year to make sure no one goes hungry.
During this specific time of uncertainty in our community and our country, New Hope and the NYCSD are working together again to make sure families have their needs met. Beginning immediately, families that have students enrolled in the free and reduced school meal program may visit New Hope Ministries at any time we are open to receive food from our pantry. If your family is in need of food, for the weekends or otherwise, please contact New Hope Ministries at (717) 432-2087 ext. 1. We can provide "drive through" service, if requested. We are also available to help with other basic needs a family may have through this time of crisis, along with help with job training and employment assistance. To learn more about everything we offer, please visit our website at www.nhm-pa.org.
What a wonderful community where we live and serve! We've also received many questions about what New Hope needs most right now as we help our neighbors in need (our core mission). We need financial support so we can continue serving in the midst of this crisis, especially during a time of increased need. We humbly appeal to the generosity of our community to donate funds to support our essential services. Please donate online at www.nhm-pa.org or by mailing a donation to New Hope Ministries, P.O. Box 448, Dillsburg, PA 17019.
