COVID Case at Northern High School 4.16.21
The District has been notified of a case of COVID-19 at Northern High School involving a student last in the building on April 13. This is the third case for the high school within the current rolling 14-day period (six cases require a closure).
Per the revised recommendations of PDE’s closure orders, after the high school takes action in accordance with the guidelines of the PA Department of Health and the protocols established in the District’s Health and Safety Plan—including contact tracing, quarantining individuals that were in close contact, and appropriate cleaning and disinfecting of affected areas—its case count will reset to zero after the weekend.
