Snow Days Update
Dear Northern Families,
We have now used our two traditional snow days for this year when school was closed on December 15 and January 25. These days will be made up on Friday, February 17 and Friday, March 10 per our 2022-23 School Year Calendar.
For future school closings, instruction will take place at home and will be provided through remote learning. The Commonwealth has granted school districts the authority to provide up to five of these remote learning days before we would have to start adding make-up days to the end of the school calendar in June.
If you do not know what the expectations are for your student on remote learning days, please reach out to your school’s principal for details.
Thank you,
Steve Kirkpatrick
Superintendent of Schools
