HS Musical
Northern High School's musical theater program is a vital part of the school's performing arts department, dedicated to fostering talent and creativity. The program’s high production values, including professional-quality sets, costumes, and lighting, add polish that rivals community theater standards.
Beyond performing, the program emphasizes technical theater, giving students hands-on experience in lighting, sound, set design, and more, preparing them for future arts endeavors. Auditions are November 18 and 19, 2024. All students in grades 9-12 in the NYCD school district may audition. Audition materials and other information will be available in the NHS Musical 2025 Group in Schoology. (There is no access code to join). Check back often for updated information. All students interested in participating in the musical in some way, shape or form should join this group and complete the information forms. (Stage crew, tech crew, pit orchestra, actor, etc.) If you have any questions about the High School musical, please see Mrs. Bissell in the chorus room.
