Elementary School Counselor - Dillsburg Elementary

  • Bullying Prevention Awareness Month

I am Mrs. Kim Landauer, school counselor for Dillsburg Elementary.  I am a graduate of Gettysburg Area School District and received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Millersville University.  I completed my post-graduate work at McDaniel College, receiving a Master's of Science Degree in Counselor Education.

As the school counselor, I work to promote and enhance student development in the areas of academic, career, and social/emotional skills. I support our staff and students in the implementation of a school-wide positive behavior system and the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program.  The elementary school counseling program offers classroom guidance lessons, small groups focused on social and emotional skill-building, and individual counseling.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns (432-8691 x1402).  More information regarding support groups can be located by clicking on the Support Groups for Students tab.

Best wishes for a school year full of amazing experiences and fun in learning!
