In this time of social distancing, I am going to do everything I can to help chorus students learn the music for our Spring Concert, and piano and guitar students with learning as much as you can while we are out of school. I will be available for questions from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 17-20 and March 23-27, and you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or email through Schoology or you can text me through REMIND (text @653sing to 81010 to sign up for REMIND) with any questions that I can answer immediately. You may also email me at any time for non-essential questions. If you need anything, please let me know. In this time of uncertainty and uncharted territory I want you to know that I am here to help you through this time. We are all in this together and we need each other for support. I want you to keep busy and keep yourselves occupied so that this time passes quickly, the threat of illness passes and we can get back to school everyday. Be well and let me know if you need me.
Chorus students should visit Schoology and the Mixed Chorus tab to see what they can do to continue with Chorus and for enrichment activities. Bear Singers should visit the Bear Singers Tab; Piano Class should visit the Piano Class tab; and Guitar Class Guitar Class tab for more information on what you could be doing to continue with enrichment activities.
At this time the only new information about the Music Department trip to Florida is that Brightspark and NYCSD are working towards a plan to reschedule the trip. As we learn more, we will share that info. Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time and know that we are in frequent communication with Brightspark for updates.

Parent Teacher Conferences - Please Click HERE to sign up for a Conference. Thank you! (Click Here for the Conference 1/2 sheet paper that was given to students on Oct. 29th)
Men's Quartet Audition piece - Click HERE. Start at m. 21 and sing to the end singing m. 20 at the very end--it's the same as the next page of music--rather than copy two pages of the audition spot, you can just sing m. 20 at the very end. Tenor is the top notes (stems up), Lead is the bottom of treble clef (stems down), baritone is top of the bass clef (stems up), bass is the bottom of the bass clef (stems down). Choose which part or ask Josh Brown which part you should audition on. Questions? See Mrs. Bissell or Josh Brown (??don't know why it's upside down--I tried fixing it--print it out and you'll be ok)
