Congratulations to the cast, pit and crew of The Phantom of the Opera for a spectacular show!  

Congratulations on a spectacular concert!  The holiday chorus concert was fantastic and I am so proud of all of you for the hard work, focus and effort you put in for the success of the concert.  There are definitely things we could work on to become even better musicians.  The Concert Reflection assignment is on Google Classroom. Go to the Google Classroom tab and join the class by typing in the following code:  6xj2flu.  Click HERE for more info about Google Classroom if you are new to using it. This assignment is due January 8th, 2019.  

Congratulations to Joe Richwine and Marcus Jacobs for successfully auditioning for the PMEA District 7 Choral Festival which will take place February 7-9, 2019 at Cedar Cliff High School with guest conductor, Mr. Gabriel Crouch from Princeton University.  Mr. Crouch was a member of the world renowned a cappella group, The King's Singers, for 8 years and has been nominated for multiple awards.  He is currently the Director of Choral Activities and Senior Lecturer in Music at Princeton.  There were over 500 students who auditioned for the top 25 spots of each voice part.  Joe placed 3rd for Bass 1's and Marcus placed 19th for Bass 2's.  Congratulations gentlemen, and best of luck at districts!

Disney 2020 Informational Meeting - October 17th, 6:30 p.m.

Parent/Teacher Conferences - Click HERE to view the conference schedule for Mrs. Bissell.  Please sign and date the half sheet conference form that your student has in their possession.  This paper is worth a grade for them.  :)

Sight and Sound Theater, Lancaster trip - October 24th -3 p.m. show - Click HERE

Deadline for deposit and permission forms is Friday, September 14th.  The 2nd payment is due by 9/24.  $23 Per Person for dinner and transportation.  Please make checks payable to:  NSH Chorus Fund. Send payment in an envelope with your student's name and give to Mrs. Bissell or Mrs. Ometz.  Thank you!

Who's going to Disney 2020??? - Please either fill out the blue hard copy Disney form (handed out Friday, 9/14) or the online form if you (students and parents) are interested in attending the Disney 2020 trip.  The Northern Music Boosters would like to get an idea of how many people are going for planning purposes. Please return forms/submit by September 27, 2018.  Thank you!

The Spring Chorus Concert is Saturday, May 18th at 7 p.m. (Mandatory rehearsal is Friday, May 17th from 3-6 p.m.)
