We have recently completed a study on "The Power of Music
Education" in our district. This was for a project sponsored by
the USSBA. It's very interesting! Scroll to the bottom and click
on the link if you'd like to see the Power of Music Education.

Congratulations to the Marching Band on a great start to the
competition year. 2nd place at Red Land and an admirable
first show. Here's to the best of luck throughout the rest of
the competition season!

Marching band friends and family night - next Friday, August 12. 7pm, NHS Band Field (between Northern Elem. and NMS) Come out and support the band!
June 11, 2011 Mr. Leidhecker will be out of town until July 3rd. Any questions or concerns should be directed to Mr. McCartney, Assistant Marching Band Director at cmccartney@nycsd.k12.pa.us
Don't forget about the Car Wash on June 18th at Members 1st!!! Hours are 9am to 2pm - everyone show up and help wash cars!!!!
